As such, we are committed to providing accurate and comprehensive education and resources to the community about cannabis. Our approach will involve developing public education campaigns, hosting community events and workshops, and providing educational resources for healthcare providers and educators.

Through our public education campaigns, we aim to provide information on the benefits and risks associated with cannabis use. We will provide information on the various strains of cannabis and their potential uses, as well as information on the different methods of consumption. This will help individuals make informed decisions about whether cannabis is right for them.

In addition, we will host community events and workshops to provide hands-on learning opportunities about cannabis. These events will cover a range of topics, including how to use cannabis safely and responsibly. These events will also provide an opportunity for individuals to ask questions and get answers from experts in the field.

Finally, we will provide educational resources for healthcare providers and educators. These resources will include information on the latest research on cannabis, as well as guidelines for safe and responsible use. This will enable healthcare providers and educators to provide accurate information to their patients and students.

Pedaling through time and space, celebrating the father of LSD and the discovery that changed our world. Happy Bicycle Day, in honor of the visionary Albert Hoffman. Albert Hofmann (1906-2008) was a Swiss scientist who is widely known for his discovery of the psychedelic drug lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD). Born in Baden, Switzerland, Hofmann studied chemistry at the University of Zurich, where he earned his doctorate in 1929. After completing his studies, Hofmann began working for the pharmaceutical company Sandoz (now Novartis) in Basel, Switzerland. In 1938, he synthesized LSD for the first time while researching compounds derived from ergot, a type of fungus that grows on rye. Hofmann was initially not interested in the compound, but several years later, he felt compelled to revisit it and accidentally ingested a small amount of LSD in his lab, leading to the famous bicycle ride home that he later referred to as “Bicycle Day”. Hofmann’s discovery of LSD had a profound impact on the world of psychiatry and the counterculture of the 1960s. It quickly became a popular drug for both therapeutic and recreational use, leading to a wave of scientific and cultural interest in hallucinogens. However, as the recreational use of LSD grew more widespread, it also led to controversy and government crackdowns, culminating in the drug’s classification as a Schedule I substance in the United States in 1970. Despite this, Hofmann remained fascinated by LSD and continued to study its effects and potential therapeutic uses throughout his life. He also became an advocate for the responsible use of psychedelics, and his work has influenced countless researchers and enthusiasts in the field. Hofmann’s contributions to science were widely recognized during his lifetime, and he received numerous awards and honors, including the Albert Hofmann Foundation, which was established in his honor in 2007. Though Livingston opted out of recreational marijuana last year, they are now considering all classes of cannabis except for class 5 retail.
